On Tuesday (June 27), the Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a significant change to the teacher recruitment norms, allowing candidates from other states to become teachers in Bihar. As per the notification, the candidates need not be permanent residents of the Bihar state to apply for BPSC Recruitment 2023.
